Beef Chili
Ingredients Recipe
1 pound Lean Ground Beef
1 tbsp Tomato Paste
2 cloves garlic
1 cup Onion
2 16-oz cans pinto beans
3 Whole Tomatoes
1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
2 Dried Ancho Chili Peppers
1 Dried Guajillo Chili Peppers
Steps
- Toast 2 Dried Ancho Chili Peppers and 1 Dried Guajillo Chili Peppers on skillet for 60 seconds
- Submerge toasted 2 Dried Ancho Chili Peppers and 1 Dried Guajillo Chili Peppers in boiling water for 15 minutes until soft
- Dice 1 cup Onion, 2 cloves garlic, and 3 Whole Tomatoes
- Cook 1 cup Onion, and 2 cloves garlic in skillet on medium heat until onions are translusent
- Cook 1 pound Lean Ground Beef in a skillet on medium high heat until fully cooked & internal temperature reaches 160°F. After cooking drain fat
- Combine cooked 1 pound Lean Ground Beef, cooked 1 cup Onion, chili mixture, 2 16-oz cans pinto beans, 3 Whole Tomatoes, 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin, and 1 tbsp Tomato Paste in a covered pot. Bring to a simmer
- Cover & cook on medium-low covered for 15-20 minutes until onions & beans are soft
